Patna: The 201-day Shiksha Sankalp Yatra, which covered all 38 districts of Bihar to understand students’ learning needs and challenges in the education system, concluded here on Sunday. The conclusion ceremony was marked by a Shiksha Sankalp sammelan-cum-felicitation ceremony at Bapu Tower, where education minister Mithilesh Tiwari highlighted the importance of ground-level experience, research and innovation in improving education.During a discussion on ‘Bihar Shiksha Yatra: From zero to the top’, Tiwari praised Nimesh Shukla, who led the initiative, for engaging with students and understanding their talents, academic needs and the challenges faced by the education system.He said the experiences gathered during the yatra could help identify gaps and guide practical reforms to make education more effective, improve quality and address students’ needs.The event also saw the felicitation of educationists and other contributors to the field.
