Lucknow: UP BJP will call its much-awaited state executive meeting on Oct 30. A formal decision to this effect was taken by the state unit on Sunday.The meeting, likely to be attended by home minister and the party’s chief poll strategist Amit Shah and other senior party leaders including CM Yogi Adityanath, will be organised at Ram Manohar Lohia Law University.On Sunday, Chaudhary and the state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh held a meeting to discuss preparation for the meeting.Sources said that BJP will shift its Uttar Pradesh unit’s focus from organisational restructuring to an intensive phase of election preparations.The meeting is expected to lay down a broader roadmap for BJP’s preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, with an emphasis on strengthening the party’s grassroots network, improving coordination between organisational units and consolidating support among different social groups.The possible presence of Shah has added significance to the meeting as the party prepares to take its campaign machinery into election mode.
