Ludhiana: Two motorcycle-borne men were arrested for allegedly robbing a tempo driver of Rs 38,000 after accusing him of selling ‘chitta’ near Sudhar. Police said one of the accused, dressed in Nihang attire, allegedly held a kirpan to the victim’s neck before snatching the cash and fleeing. The complainant, Harbans Singh, was returning after collecting payments for animal feed deliveries when the duo intercepted him. Sudhar police arrested Gurinder Singh and Ajit Singh alias Bijju and registered a case.
