In his Facebook post, Prince Joy made it clear that he remained confident about the film’s merits. However, he also clarified that he was not claiming that ‘Titans’ would become a cult classic in Malayalam cinema. The filmmaker explained that the story was developed around a balance between fantasy and reality.“I am writing this with the firm conviction that I haven’t made a bad film. That said, we are not claiming that ‘Titans’ is a cult classic in Malayalam cinema either. We structured the screenplay by positioning it somewhere between fantasy and reality. The director also addressed people who have yet to watch ‘Titans’, particularly those interested in fantasy films and experimental cinema. To those who haven’t watched the film yet, those planning to watch it next weekend, those who love fantasy films, those who enjoy illogical humour, and those who welcome experimental cinema, ‘Titans’ is a film made for the crowds, not for an OTT platform.”“If possible, watch the film in theatres before ‘Titans’ disappears from cinemas,” Prince Joy added.
