Lucknow: Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) on Friday carried out an Electronic Total Station (ETS) survey of the house and adjoining land linked to triple murder accused Rishabh Shukla to determine whether any part of the property falls on Nazul land.LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar said a team of officials conducted detailed measurements of the plot and the structures standing on it using an ETS machine, which enables precise land mapping and boundary verification. The survey was undertaken to establish the exact extent of the property and ascertain whether the house or any portion of its construction is situated on Nazul land, Kumar said. The action comes after allegations by the victim’s family that the accused’s house, apart from a boundary wall, had been constructed on govt land. Earlier, LDA had demolished a portion of the boundary wall after determining that it had encroached on the road.Officials said the findings of the survey would be examined along with revenue and land records before any decision is taken. “The survey will help establish the actual status of the land and further action, if any, will be taken as per rules,” Kumar said. LDA has not yet announced the outcome of the survey.
