Lucknow: At Janata Darshan held at his Lucknow residence on Monday, chief minister Yogi Adityanath met several people who came with problems and assured them of a resolution to their issues. He directed officials to resolve every matter within a specified timeframe, adding that if a complaint was made twice and was found to be genuine, action would be taken against officials who failed to address the matter in the first round. “The satisfaction of the aggrieved is govt’s goal. If a person’s problem is genuine and is not resolved on time, that is unpardonable,” he said. Some persons came with complaints of their lands having been forcibly occupied by others. The CM said that strict legal action should be taken against any person found guilty of encroachment. “Along with getting the land freed from encroachment, those who forcibly occupied it should be taught a stern legal lesson. Ensure justice for the victim and punishment for the guilty,” he said.
