Lucknow: Ekana stadium will turn into a vibrant Garba ground as the city gears up for a three-day festival from Oct 16 to 18, bringing together dance, music, food, fashion and lifestyle experiences.Organised by the Times of India and Navbharat Times, the cultural get-together will be Lucknow’s grandest Garba get-together ever witnessed by the city.More than 10,000 people are expected to participate in the event, which aims to combine the traditional Gujarati folk dance with a larger cultural and entertainment carnival.The festival will feature Garba performances, live music and celebrity entertainment, offering visitors an opportunity to celebrate the festive season in a large-scale setting.Beyond dance and music, the event will also have a fashion and lifestyle component, with stalls showcasing traditional Garba attire, jewellery, fashion trends and lifestyle products. Leading automobile brands are expected to display their latest cars, while real estate developers will present premium property projects in Lucknow.Another major attraction at the event is a food festival featuring cuisines and specialities from 15 states across India. Shopping outlets and lifestyle brands will add to the carnival atmosphere.The three-day event seeks to bring together culture, entertainment, shopping, food and business showcases at one venue, offering families and young people a mix of traditional festivities and contemporary attractions.With thousands of Garba enthusiasts expected to gather at Ekana football stadium, the festival is set to add a large-scale cultural celebration to Lucknow’s festive calendar.
