Ranveer Singh has added a stylish electric sedan to his garage, just as he and Deepika Padukone settle into life with their newborn second daughter. The actor, wearing black, picked up the car from the showroom and drove it home himself, with Mumbai’s roads as his first test drive.

Priced at over Rs 2 crore depending on the variant and features, the BMW i7 comes to Ranveer shortly after BMW India appointed him as its brand ambassador. It is reportedly the actor’s second electric vehicle, following the GMC Hummer EV. Ranveer is well known for his passion for premium cars, and his garage reportedly also includes a Lamborghini Urus, a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, a Range Rover and an Aston Martin Rapide S.
Ranveer Singh’s next film ‘Pralay’
On the professional front, Ranveer’s next project is ‘Pralay’, a zombie drama helmed by Jai Mehta and co-starring Kalyani Priyadarshan. The film went on the floors in August 2026. As reported in Pinkvilla, “Ranveer Singh’s next is tentatively titled ‘Pralay’. The title is in sync with the world of the film, which is hit by an unexpected disaster – both natural and man-made. While the world of Pralay is unlike anything seen before, the film is more of a human story based on how far a man can go to save his family in the most difficult circumstances.”

On the personal front, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone welcomed their second daughter on September 19, 2026. The couple announced the happy news with a joint Instagram post that simply read “Welcome baby girl,” accompanied by an evil eye emoji. Well-wishers poured in on social media, including Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.
