Koderma: The Hazaribag minor girl on Monday reportedly refused to undergo a medical examination while arrested Koderma civil surgeon Dr Anil Kumar, who is accused in the rape case, was admitted to a govt hospital with complaints of high blood pressure and chest pain, sources said.The minor girl was produced before a magistrate in Koderma court on Monday so as to record her statement under Section 164 of the CrPC, police said.Deputy superintendent Dr Farhana Mahfooj said, “The minor girl refused to undergo a medical examination and denied that the incident had happened. Meanwhile, a team of doctors is monitoring Dr Kumar’s condition.”Divisional jail superintendent Raj Mohan Rajan visited the hospital to review security arrangements. Accused Dr Kumar is under judicial custody.Dr Kumar was arrested on Sunday following allegations of sexual assault by a minor girl from Hazaribag. According to the complaint, the girl had accompanied her mother to a govt hospital in 2025 for treatment. Thereafter, the girl was allegedly inducted as a nursing trainee by Kumar.
