Lucknow: In a bid to expand its footprint across the country, Aisshpra, a jewellery brand from eastern Uttar Pradesh, plans to open 10 new retail stores over the next two years with an investment of Rs 500 crore. On Friday, the company announced that three new stores would open in the coming days.The new stores will cater to buyers of gold, diamond, platinum and silver jewellery, coins, bars and premium gift cards in Bahraich, Lucknow and Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh, as well as Bettiah in Bihar. Once the new stores open, the company’s retail presence will increase from 16 to 20 stores, with a focus on northern India, particularly Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and neighbouring states.With a business turnover of over Rs 3,000 crore and annual growth of around 20%, the company aims to establish its brand nationally in the coming years.“Customer trust has been our biggest strength since 1940. Opening four showrooms in a single day is an important milestone in our growth journey. Our customers are looking beyond traditional jewellery and are increasingly choosing lightweight, contemporary designs for everyday wear,” said Aisshpra director Atul Saraf, adding that the company’s focus remained on delivering quality, maintaining transparency and preserving customers’ trust.
