Jaipur: The Rajasthan BJP Wednesday organised ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ programmes at district centres across the state to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life.

In Jaipur, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and BJP state president Madan Rathore attended the programme at V T Road in Mansarovar. Modi and BJP national president Nitin Nabin addressed the gathering virtually, following which a ‘Seva Jyoti’ was lit as a symbol of service and social responsibility.Sharma flagged off the Seva Jyoti Yatra with a ceremonial torch and joined the procession. He later paid a floral tribute at the Atal Kavya Smarak in Mansarovar’s City Park and administered a pledge to participants to work towards building a developed India.Addressing the gathering, Sharma said, “Decisions such as the abrogation of Article 370 and construction of Ram Mandir reflected PM’s firm resolve and commitment to national interest. Modi’s name has become synonymous with fulfilling promises and achieving national goals.”Rathore said the yatra aimed to take Modi’s message of service, dedication and nation-building to people. “BJP workers had travelled from every booth to district centres, while over 40 lakh ‘Aashirwad ke Deep’ had earlier been lit across Rajasthan during the service campaign,” he said.
