TNNLucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Promote Pharma Council (UPPPC), the Department of Medical Education, the PI-RAHI Foundation, the Northern Region Science & Technology Cluster and IIT Ropar have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen strategic collaboration in research, innovation, technology development and commercialisation. The MoU was signed during the 4th All India S&T Cluster Meet in Chandigarh.The partnership aims to promote industry–academia collaboration, translational research, pharmaceutical innovation, healthcare technologies and medical devices, with a focus on converting scientific research into commercially viable technologies and solutions.Under the MoU, UPPPC and PI-RAHI will explore joint initiatives in technology validation, startup and MSME support, capacity building, industry engagement, knowledge exchange and technology transfer. The collaboration will also leverage PI-RAHI’s engagement with the Baddi pharmaceutical cluster in Himachal Pradesh and UPPPC’s growing clinical research and innovation ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh.
