They reportedly remained quiet in the barrack throughout the day and did not interact with other inmates, although they were occasionally seen talking to each other. Jail officials said they were gradually getting used to the prison environment.District Jail Jailer Ritwik Priyadarshi said Shraddha, Rashmi and their driver, Tanveer alias Danish, had been moved to regular barracks after completing quarantine. A female deputy jailer is monitoring the sisters, while a male deputy jailer is supervising Tanveer. For security reasons, all three will appear before the court through video conferencing on their scheduled judicial custody dates.Meanwhile, investigators are looking into the alleged role of people who may have helped the accused after Sharma’s death. Police found that Rashmi had allegedly called a man named Aamir for help shortly after Sharma fell from the building. CCTV footage obtained from the hospital reportedly shows Aamir Sheikh, wearing a black T-shirt, with Tanveer alias Danish. Police teams are now searching for those suspected of helping the accused. How police traced the accused to NagpurShraddha, Rashmi and Danish were arrested in Nagpur on October 20 after Lucknow Police tracked their movements through WhatsApp calls, internet connection details and information provided by a cab driver.Investigators said the trio had repeatedly changed locations to evade arrest. The frequent moves made it difficult for police to catch up with them, as internet connection details used for surveillance took around 14 to 15 hours to reach investigators, leaving the teams nearly three hours behind the suspects.Police said the accused allegedly stayed at each location for less than 12 hours before moving elsewhere to avoid detection. The investigation gained momentum after officers traced and questioned a cab driver who had taken the trio to Nagpur.According to investigators, Shraddha mainly used her driver Danish’s mobile phone for WhatsApp calls. During the journey, she allegedly accessed the internet through a hotspot provided by the cab driver. The driver dropped the trio in Nagpur late on October 19 and waited outside a hotel for another passenger travelling to Kanpur. Police traced him and questioned him, and the information he provided helped narrow the search.A Lucknow Police team then reached Nagpur and increased surveillance, waiting for another WhatsApp call that could reveal the suspects’ location. Shraddha allegedly made a call that helped investigators trace the signal to a flat in the Pro-Zone Calm apartment complex in Chinchbhan. When officers reached the flat on the afternoon of October 20, the occupants allegedly refused to open the door. Police sought assistance from Nagpur Police, after which the door was opened and the three were arrested. They were subsequently brought back to Lucknow. Police had announced a reward of Rs 50,000 each for information leading to their arrest.Sharma died on October 9 after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment near Balu Adda in Lucknow’s Hazratganj area. His death triggered the investigation that led to the arrest of Shraddha and her associates.
