Lucknow: In a late night encounter on Sunday, police arrested a youth for stabbing a 24-year-old boy to death after an argument near Ambedkar Park in Saadatganj on Saturday evening.A viral video had surfaced on social media, in which the accused, Uzaifa, was seen fleeing the spot after stabbing the victim, identified as Rehan.Rehan, suffered multiple stab wounds, including a deep injury to his neck, and was rushed to KGMU Trauma Centre, where doctors declared him dead.According to the family, Rehan had gone for a walk with Uzaifa when an argument broke out between the two.Uzaifa allegedly pulled out a knife and repeatedly attacked him before fleeing.Rehan’s father, Munshi, alleged that his son had been implicated in a case and had spent one-and-a-half months in Agra jail.
