Lucknow: The 118th board meeting of the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) approved three proposals related to employee welfare on Saturday.The meeting, presided over by chairman Ravindra Pratap Singh, discussed a proposal to provide healthcare facilities to serving and retired employees. A formal proposal on the matter will be presented at the next meeting. The board also approved a proposal to extend the Leave Travel Concession (LTC) facility to employees.It further approved a proposal to adopt the provisions of the UP Outsourcing Corporation. The decisions mark significant steps towards employee welfare, the expansion of service benefits and the strengthening of institutional arrangements. These measures are expected to safeguard and promote the interests of the board’s serving and retired employees.
