Lucknow: The family of the three men killed in the Saadatganj firing incident has alleged that some of the accused had previously been externed from the district in connection with other cases and had repeatedly harassed them by filing false complaints at the police station.In a complaint lodged with Saadatganj police, Ruchi Tiwari, wife of deceased Shivendra Tiwari, alleged that the hostility stemmed from her family’s support for public works being carried out by local ward councillor Anupam Kamal, which the accused allegedly opposed.She claimed that the accused had frequently targeted her family over the dispute and expressed apprehension that the lives of her surviving family members were also at risk.Naming members of the accused’s family in her complaint, she alleged that some of them had been externed from the district in connection with other cases and routinely harassed her family by filing false complaints at the police station.ADCP (West Zone) Dhananjay Kushwaha confirmed that the accused’s uncle had been externed from the district a few years ago.
